Your ideas. Your vision. Your story.
At Impact Press we publish beautiful books for Australian influencers, leaders and thinkers who want a boost into the Australian publishing industry, rather than relying on lengthy and competitive submission processes required by traditional publishers.
A book is the best business card you will ever have.
A powerful and effective tool to legitimise your brand, personal experiences or creativity, a book is a tangible object that can position you or your company as an expert in your field, support others through a tough time through your lived experience or capture the imagination of readers across the world.
In the increasingly crowded digital space, a book is a credible and impressive asset that will take you above and beyond the level of your competitors. We truly believe the impact and staying power of words bound into a book cannot be rivalled by a blog post, tweet or eDM.
This is where we give your book the professional polish it deserves with our hand-selected team of highly experienced and specialised Australian editors. Our editorial services include structural editing, copyediting and proofreading.
Our industry-experienced designers target your desired audience with a unique, beautiful cover and internal design. Our designers receive a comprehensive brief, providing them with a mood board, competitor titles and the details needed to create the best book possible that aligns with your vision and brand.
Our close attention to detail will give your book a truly professional feel. Paper density and quality, typesetting font and styles, binding and trim size are just the start of the intricate details that a truly professional publisher knows. We make sure that your book is bound perfectly, that appropriate paper stock and embellishments are used, and that it is typeset so your text is legible and appealing.
We take care of all of your printing needs, with access to some of Australia’s major printers as well as print-on-demand services. This means you can decide how many books you want to print and when.
Sales and Distribution
The exceptional sales team at Simon & Schuster Australia will make your book available at Australia and New Zealand’s leading book retailers, as well as all Australian libraries. Your sales materials are looked after by our experienced team, highlighting the key sales points that readers and retailers are looking for. Whether your book or eBook is fiction, non-fiction, gift or children’s, our sales team will ensure your book reaches as wide an audience as possible.
Our in-depth Impact Press Marketing Guide will tell you everything you need to know about reaching your target audience. Whether you’re considering using traditional or modern marketing techniques, we can advise you on the best approach for digital, TV, radio or print media, as well as how to best use websites and social media to sell your book.
While we focus our efforts of marketing your book to the book trade through catalogue placement and promotions, we can recommend some excellent local publicists to help with publicity.
